An 11-year-old schoolgirl who slipped on ice outside her school has died in hospital.
ITN News reports that Naeemah Accha was outside her school – St Michael with St John Primary School in Blackburn, Lancashire – last Thursday (14/01/2010) when she sustained a massive head injury after falling on ice outside the school.
Naeemah was taken to Manchester Children's Hospital, where she died on Friday.
Lancashire Police said that the circumstances of the schoolgirl’s death were being investigated, but it appeared she slipped on ice before falling.
